There will be an Association trip to this event which was hugely successful last year. Free entrance to Veterans and partners from 10am-5pm. Parade assembles at 2.10pm. Dep Pontefract at 10am Dep Eden Camp 4pm. A small fee per person for the transport.

About The Event
The largest gathering of veterans in the North of England. The museum’s largest event invites veterans groups from all services and generations to take part in the parade and service led by the Yorkshire Volunteer Band. The parade will assemble at 2.10pm with the service starting at 2.30pm.
This year, to mark the 75th anniversary of D-Day, we hope to pay special tribute to the Normandy Veterans. We also hope to feature one of our local regiments, the Green Howards, as it was a Green Howard, Stanley Hollis, who was the only person to be awarded a Victoria Cross for his actions on D-Day.
