Albert Lockwood ex 1 KOYLI

Albert Lockwood ex KOYLI passed away at the beginning of February aged 100. We were honored to attend his 100th birthday celebration in December 2015 at which we discovered Albert was a Bugler we believe made him the oldest Lt Div Bugler.

We said farewell to Albert on 22 February 2016 at Pontefract Crematorium with his family and friends. An honour guard was provided by association members from various branches and two KOYLI Standard bearers slow marched ahead of the coffin. Last Post and Reveille were sounded by Craig Rosser with the Kohima Epitaph read by Col (Retd.) D G Delany.

Ernest Lockwood, Albert’s nephew, asked me to pass on his thanks, and those of the family, to all from the Association for the great tribute they paid to his uncle Albert.

RIP Albert your with your beloved wife. Cede Nullis.
