Colin 'Korky' Evans ex 2LI

Colin "Korky" Evans died on Monday 22 February 2016 while driving on the M62. His funeral was held on 9 March 2016 at Pontefract Crematorium in the presence of his family and friends.

A large number of Association members who served with Colin attended the service and formed an honour guard as Colin's coffin entered the Crematorium escorted by KOYLI, LI and Royal British Legion Standard Bearers. Buglers of the LtDiv and Rifles Veteran Buglers Association sounded Last Post and Reveille between which The Kohima Epitaph was read.

The thoughts and condolences of all members of the association especially those who served with him are with Betty and all Korky's family and friends. RIP Korky from us all. CEDE NULLIS – AUCTO SPLENDORE RESURGO - FAITHFUL
