George Hoult, ex KOYLI/2LI

George's funeral was held on Friday 22nd July at 11am. At Wakefield ( Kettlethorpe ) crematorium and then afterwards at Westgate Common WMC.

The crematorium was packed with almost as many people standing as there were seated. George's family and friends were joined by a large gathering of Association members along with other ex KOYLI servicemen from around the area who all knew and had served with George.

George's coffin was draped in the Light Infantry flag and led into the crematorium by 3 Standard Bearers carrying the LI and KOYLI Branch Standards. Last Post and Reveille were sounded by 2 Buglers from the Buglers Association.

RIP George as you take your place at the final RV. Cede Nullis
