Royal Armouries Leeds Armistice Day Service 11 Nov 16

At the 11th Hour on the 11th Day of the 11th Month at the Royal Armouries in Leeds 6 members of the Regimental Association and the Rifles County Secretary joined members of the public in a service of remembrance which recognised the ultimate sacrifice made by The Barnbow lasses killed in an explosion in the Munitions Factory at Crossgates during WWI.

Buglers Association member Stan Wilkinson, an old friend from during my time with Band and Bugles, travelled from Shrewsbury to sound Last Post and Reveille as Poppy petals fell from the upper galleries of the Royal Armouries.
