Peter Thomas Forcer Laland ex 2 LI sadly passed away on 30th October 2017 aged 64. Peter's family have posted this message:
"As most of you are aware Peter Laland lost his courageous but short battle with cancer on Monday 30th October. As a family we would like to thank you all for your kind words and condolences we have been receiving during this painful time. His funeral will take place on FRIDAY 17TH NOVEMBER.
Peter will be leaving his family home at 1400 with cremation at ROSE HILL CREMATORIUM CANTLEY at 1440. There will be a wake at THE PUNCH BOWL INN THORNE from 1530. We ask that it is family flowers only, however there will be a donation box at the crematorium with details of the military charity to follow".
Our thoughts, prayers and condolences are with Peter's wife Carol, his family and friends at this very sad time.
Peter was a great guy with a great sense of fun who is going to be greatly missed by those he served with but in particular his long time friend Frankie Mckale.
Stand easy Pete you did your duty done with honour and pride. Take your place in the FRV as the Silver Bugles you loved so much sound No More Parades. RIP Pete, we'll remember you, and you will not be forgotten. To our fallen comrade! Cede Nullis"
