On Saturday 30 Jun 2018 Association members were in Doncaster and Leeds supporting Armed Forces Day events.
Steve Tagg, Malcolm Moore and Colin Cranswick were in Doncaster Market Place with the Association gazebo and the recruiting team of Y Coy 8 Rifles. Also there taking the salute outside the Mansion House during the parade through the centre of Doncaster were Lt Col Graham Whitmoor, Rifles Colonel South Yorkshire and Vice President of the Association, along with Maj Derek Searby CBE, Vice Chairman of the Trustees. It was a pleasure to many ex Light Infantrymen from the Doncaster area who came over to us for a chat.
West Leeds branch members: Brian Clayton, Geoff Holland and Tony Rothery were in the atrium of Leeds White Rose Shopping Centre for the centres AFD event organised by SSAFA. Many thanks to West Leeds Branch for representing the Association at event, the second AFD event they have supported in 2 weeks.
