It is with sadness that we have to announce the passing of another KOYLI serviceman, William Parks aged 77 passed away on 22 June 2018. Bill, as he was known, served with the Battalion in various locations including Malaya and was always proud to have been in the KOYLI.
Bill’s daughter, Louise, has written the following:
”It is with the greatest sadness we have to announce the passing of our amazing Dad, Grandad, Brother and Uncle, William Parks. Dad lost his battle with Alzheimer’s on the 22nd of June. He was so loved and will be missed by many. He was proud to be a KOYLI and one of the last memories he held onto was the time he spent in Malaya. Now reunited with his wife Beryl and son Adrian.”
RIP Bill, the bugles sound No More Parades for you, your duty done take your place in the FRV. Cede Nullis.
