Frank (Mick) Townsend Late 1KSLI and 4KOYLI

It is with sadness that we announce that Frank Townsend late 1 KSLI and 4 KOYLI, known as Mick to his friends, passed away on 6 Sep 2018 aged 86. Mick who enlisted in 1951 was a member of Pontefract branch and a proud KOYLI. The thoughts and condolences of all in the Association are with Mick's wife, family and friends. RIP Mick your duty done, stand easy and take your place in the final RV. Cede Nullis.

Mick's family asked that we publish the following:

Mike was a teacher, a gardener, an inspiration, a mentor, a role model, a veteran, a loving husband and a family.

Funeral Arrangements:

Date and Time: 02 Oct 2018 at 1500 hrs

Location: Pontefract Crematorium, Wakefield Road, Pontefract, WF8 4HA

Bugler not required

Coffin Drape: Yes (KOYLI)

Standard Bearer: Yes (KOYLI)

Association members are welcome to attend

The Wake will be held at Kings Croft Hotel, Wakefield Road, Pontefract
