We have received a message that Ian Lynch late 1 RGJ Band has passed away on 27 Sep 2018 and will be laid to rest in Hull on Wed 17 Oct. Ian sadly has very few family and an estranged son and therefore we have been asked publicise the funeral details in the hope that as many ex Riflemen, Lt Div Musicians, Buglers and veterans will attend the funeral to give Ian a fitting send off to the FRV.

Ian while serving with 1 RGJ band survived the London Hyde Park bombing. After leaving the army he continued serving his community as a member of the ambulance service.

Ian's funeral is to be held on Wednesday 17 Oct 2018 at 1200 hrs at Chanterlands Crematorium, Chanterlands Avenue, Hull HU5 4EF.

Our condolences to Ian's family and son. RIP Ian, you served your country and community with honour. Swift and Bold.

The office is generally unmanned as there is no Internet, landline or answer machine.  The Association Secretary visits the office twice a week to collect the mail and for any pre-arranged appointments.  The Association Secretary can be contacted on the mobile number or by email.
