CSjt William Murrie - Late 2LI

It is with sadness we announce that Mr William (Bill) Murrie late 2LI passed away on 29 May 2019 aged 60 after losing his fight with a rare type of cancer. Our condolences are with Bill's family and friends. RIP Bill your duty done take your place in the Final RV. Cede Nullis.

Bill enlisted into the Light Infantry in the mid 70s. On completion of his training in Shrewsbury he was posted to 2LI. He served with the battalion in various locations including Northern Ireland, Gibraltar, UK and Germany.
