Standard Bearers from all branch of the services and Veterans paraded in front of the Lord Mayor of Leeds, the Lord Lieutenant, the High Sheriff and other civic dignitaries as the Armed Forces Day flag was raised.

Our association was represented by members of West Leeds Branch, Kev Fawcett from the Veteran Buglers Association and Standard Bearers Brian Clayton, Tony Rothery and Colin Cranswick carried KOYLI, LI and Rifles Standards.

Armed Forces Day week builds to Armed Forces Day celebrations on Saturday 29 Jun 19 along the length of Briggate. The day starts with a parade of Veterans. There will be displays from all 3 services and veteran organisations including members of West Leeds branch with the Association gazebo.
