We’ve finally had confirmation that the museum will be closing on Friday the 17th of January as part of the relocation project. This will allow museum staff to decant the gallery, work on the collections and prepare them to be moved over to the new building.

The museum will be closed for Christmas from 22 December 2019 – 2 January 2020.

People will still be able to get in touch with Lynsey but access to the collections will be a little trickier once the moving out commences.

Lynsey is on annual leave until the 9th of December.
