It is my very sad duty to inform you all of the death of David Brooksbank late KOYLI and 2LI who sadly passed away on 18 Dec 2019 aged 77. David enlisted on 5 Nov 1958 and served with the KOYLI and then 2LI until his discharge

Our thoughts and condolences are with David's family and friends at this sad time. Rest in peace David your duty done take your place in the FRV. Cede Nullis.

David's family have asked for the following to be published as an obituary to him:

David loved his time in the Light Infantry but left the service to settle his young family. He went on to join British Rail as Signalman and later was a controller in the regional control office. David sadly passed away on the 18th December 2019 after a long illness. He is survived by his Wife, Daughters and Grandchildren.
