Bugler vows to 'play until there are no more deaths'

Updated: Oct 4, 2020

Veteran 1LI Bugler Paul 'Sammy' Goose from Barnsley has sounded Last Post and Reveille nightly during the pandemic. Paul began his nightly routine on 29 March and has so far kept it going for 130 days. Each performance is live-streamed and dedicated to NHS staff, key workers and victims of the pandemic.

Paul has also raised money for a local hospital during the lockdown and been nominate as a local champion by Barnsley MDC.

Earlier today Paul was featured on BBC Look North, local news programme, and on BFPS Radio.
