Featherstone War Horse Receives a New Coat

On Friday 10 October in Featherstone at the site of the War Horse sculpture the community came together to witness the unveiling of the hand made purple poppy coat for Joey the War Horse. The purple poppy is a symbol of remembrance for all service animals.


2 of our Association Standards Bearers, Rob Smith and Colin Cranswick were the only Standard Bearers there to represent the veteran's community.
