Honoring KOYLI Soldiers: WWII Remembrance in Norway

On the 23rd of April, Paul and Brit Kiddell, esteemed members of our Association, honored the memory of the fallen by laying a KOYLI wreath at Hustad Farm in Norway during the annual remembrance service.

This solemn event commemorated the 84th anniversary of the Battle at Vist, featuring a dignified ceremony at the soldier statue in Hustad. The adjacent churchyard serves as the final resting place for three British soldiers and one German soldier who perished in the skirmish at Krogs farm on the 21st of April, 1940.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Paul and Brit for their unwavering dedication to preserving the legacy of the KOYLI and other regiments who valiantly defended Norway.
