Mr Brian Walter Sadler - Late KOYLI

It is with great sadness that I have to inform members that Mr Brian Walter Sadler late KOYLI died on 28 April 2023 aged 86.


Brian served in The KOYLI as a National Serviceman.


Our thoughts and condolences at the sad time are with Brian's family and the friends.

As the bugle sounds 'No More Parades' and you take your place in the FRV,

your duty done with honour and distinction.

Rest in Peace Brian.

Cede Nullis.

Association members are invited to attend the ceremony and the Wake, details are:

  • Date and time: 2 May 23 at 1400 hrs.

  • Location: Wakefield Crematorium, Standbridge Ln, Kettlethorpe, Wakefield, WF43JA

  • The family do not require a Bugler, Standard Bearer or Coffin drape

  • Funeral Director: Robert Burgess 18 Market Place Normanton England WF62AU Telephone 01924-894017.

  • Flowers or Donations: Donation to British Heart Foundation in Brian's name.

Anyone wishing to send cards or letters of condolence is requested to send them to the Rifles Regional Office at Minden House marked FAO family of Brian Sadler. Office staff will then forward them to the family.
