Mr George Roberts - Late KOYLI


It is with great sadness that I have to inform members that Mr George Roberts, late KOYLI passed away on 20 Dec 2021 aged 87.


George a National Serviceman served in the KOYLI as Bugler.


Our thoughts and condolences at the sad time are with George's family, and his friends.


As the bugle sounds 'No More Parades' and you take your place in the FRV, rest in peace George. Cede Nullis.


Association members are invited to the funeral and the wake.

  • Location: Grimsby Chanterlands crematorium, Chanterlands Avenue, Hull, Hu5 4EF

  • Funeral Directors: Co op, 344 Holderness Road, Hull, Hu9 3DQ

  • The family have requested no flowers but donations maybe made in George's name to the Parkinson hub, Jean bishop centre, 63-69 David lister drive, Hull, Hu9 2BL

Anyone wishing to send cards or letters of condolence is requested to send them to the Rifles Regional Office at Minden House marked FAO family of George Roberts. Office staff will then forward them to the family.
