Portrait of Fred Adamson by Association Member

Graham Colbeck a member of Wakefield painted a portrait of our oldest KOYLI member Fred Adamson. The portrait is titled The Veteran.

Graham revealed the portrait to Wakefield Branch members during their February meeting. Everyone was taken aback by how realistic the portrait is and by Graham's talent as an artist. Wakefield Branch members paid for the portrait to be framed ahead of the presentation to Fred.

Graham and Tim Humphreys, Secretary of Wakefield Branch, travelled to Fred's home in Connisborough to present Fred with the portrait. Fred and his family were amazed at the portrait and cannot thank Graham enough for the gift.

Graham is planning to release a limited number of prints; for the cost and how to order a print contact Wakefield Branch Secretary by email at timothy_humphreys8@hotmail.com
