VE Day 75th Anniversary Celebrations

Updated: May 21, 2020

Even with the Country in lockdown, the British spirit will shine through as we enter a bank holiday to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Victory in Europe.

With the National celebrations now going virtual along with those of towns and villages across the country, and street parties held observing social distancing. Whatever your plans are for 'a shared moment of celebration' please stay safe and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice and for those we have lost during the current World crisis.

We thank all our senior association members who fought during WWII. In particular one of our oldest members and Normandy Veteran Fred Adamson Legion d'honneur.

Remember to join in with the National 2 minutes silence at 11 am 8 May 2020.
