On 15 August 2020 the KOYLI Standard will be carried at the national commemoration at the National Memorial Arboretum to mark the 75th anniversary of VJ Day.
A wreath will be laid in remembrance of the Officers and soldiers of 2nd Bn KOYLI and the 7th Bn KOYLI (149 Regt RAC). Cede Nullis.

This morning, 15 August 2020, at the National Memorial Arboretum for the National Commemoration of the 75th Anniversary of VJ Day and the end of WWII, General Sir Patrick Sanders KCB, CBE, DSO, ADC as Colonel Commandant of The Rifles laid wreaths in remembrance of Officers and Soldiers of the Durham Light Infantry and the 2Bn and 7th Bn The King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry. The wreaths were laid at the DLI and LI Memorials.
After the National Commemoration service, HRH The Duchess of Cornwall as Colonel-in-Chief of The Rifles laid a wreath at the RGJ Memorial in remembrance of Officers and Soldiers of all the Rifles Antecedent Regiments. Photos will be published at a later date.
